Rox and I played the new Andiamo Trattoria in Clarkston last Saturday. The building has been remodeled from the old Mesquite Creek, and it really looks great. It was wonderful to see our old friends, the management team of Jan, Tony, Jerry, and Mario- good people all.Orlando was behind the bar, and it was busy! Lots of our old friends from Mesquite Creek (“The Creek”) came out, which was very cool. Our friends, the ballroom dancers, were out in force and danced up a storm. I was afraid I might be a bit rusty on some of the tunes, but it went really well! Rox sounded great, as always. So, Andiamo Trattoria. Do we call it “The Tratt”?
In other news, we played a benefit for Lighthouse of Clarkston, in a beautiful private home, and we played the Valentines’ party for Bloomfield Open Hunt. BOH is kind of a country club with horses instead of golf.I pulled in, and met the club president Tom, who was a great guy and funny, too. We played the room right off the horse ring, which was visible through large windows.
More in the next post.
